X-Tenso Cera Thermic will give you softer, straighter hair for up to six months, while X-Tenso Moisturist will transform curly or frizzy hair into smooth, silky hair for up to two months.
After an in-depth consultation we can achieve the perfect degree of smoothing. You can choose how smooth you want to go depending on the result you desire. Whatever look you desire, X-Tenso will improve the condition of your hair, allowing active ingredients to be delivered to where they are most needed.
During the treatment, your hair will be treated with a primer before being coated with the X-Tenso product. It will then be straightened in small sections using hair irons. The heat activates the ceramide, which straightens and strengthens the hair.

How long will my smooth hair last?
Your X-Tenso hair smoothing specialist will assess your hair and give you a good indication of how smooth your hair will be and how long you can expect it to last. Depending on your hair type and which treatment you choose, the results should last between two and six months.
How often will I need to repeat the hair smoothing treatment?
Fresh hair will need to grow to around two inches in length to allow us to re-treat your hair. This could take around three to four months. We would re-treat your roots.
How do I care for my smooth hair?
Your KAOS stylist will recommend some home care products that will help to prolong the results.
Will I be able to continue styling my hair after an X-Tenso Hair Smoothing Treatment?
You can continue to style your hair as usual. The good news is that you will be able to cut down on the time it takes to blow dry your hair and to style it using hot irons or wands. Your hair will be easier to manage.
Can I have my hair coloured on the same day as my hair smoothing treatment?
We would strongly recommend you have your hair coloured at least two weeks prior to your X-Tenso hair straightening or smoothing treatment. It is not recommended on hair that has been highlighted or pre-lightened so please book in for a consultation with your KAOS specialist so we can assess your hair.
