The Fashion Forward Blonde – Ombre or Balayage
There are subtle difference between the ombre and balayage look but both looks hae a ‘dip-dyed’ effect where a darker colour blends into a lighter colour (or even a fashion colour such as pink, blue or lilac).
Ombre tends to be more dynamic with a definite line between the two colours, whereas balayage can be more subtle and almost ‘sun-kissed’.
Usually we will mix at least two tones to create a look that graduates from darker at the roots to a lighter colour at the ends. If you have another look in mind, bring in a photo to show to your colour expert.
