Hairdressing Work Experience at Potters Bar Hair Salon

We offer work experience to youngsters who are interested in seeing what it’s like to work in a busy and successful hairdressing salon.

Work experience is usually aimed at older teenage boys and girls in Years 10 and 11 and tends to be organised through their school.

During your time at our hair salon in Potters Bar, you will gain invaluable experience working as a salon assistant.  Your tasks will include shampooing clients’ hair, assisting stylists, keeping the salon tidy and making refreshments.

This is an ideal stepping stone for young people who think they may have the enthusiasm, flair and commitment to success in the hairdressing industry.

It goes without saying that we look after all our employees and that includes individuals on work experience.  You will be given health and safety training and an induction on your first day to ensure you are comfortable and able to work safely and effectively within our friendly and professional team.
